YMCA Madras & Soroptimist Chennai organises Tree Sapling Planting Event Photos
YMCA Madras Health and Environment Committee & Soroptimist Chennai organized Tree Sapling Planting held on 4th March 2017 at 11.30 a.m. at YMCA Royapettah. The programme commenced with an Opening Prayer by Mr. David Arumugam, Vice- Chairman, Health & Environment Committee. Dr. Hilda Solomon, Chairperson , YMCA, Health & Environment Committee extended a warm Welcome to the gathering. Ms. Lita Srinivasan , Advocate, Co- ordinator Soroptimist Chennai introduced the Chief Guest. Mr. P. Asir Pandian , General Secretary YMCA Madras presented a memento to the Chief Guest. Hon’ble Justice Dr. P. Jyothimani, Member, National; green Tribunal gave the inaugural address and also spoke about the essentials of tree for our society. Mr. R. Richard Ezekiel, Associate General Secretary, Outreach Activities, YMCA, proposed the vote of thanks. Programme concluded with Prayer and Benediction by Mr.P.S.Selwyn Devadoss, Treasurer , YMCA Madras.
