Naan Thaan Bala Movie Review

Debutant filmmaker Kannan, a former associate of National award wining filmmaker Bala, begins his sojourn as filmmaker.

Interestingly he has opted for Vivek the popular comedian to play the lead role.

Vivek plays a priest in Naan Thaan Bala which also has Venkatraj, Cell Murugan, Mayilsamy, Swetha, Thennavan and Sujatha.

Bala (Vivek), a Brahmin priest lives his own life. His life is centered around his temple and his parents. But one day he meets a paid killer who bails him out of a trouble. But life takes a turn.Produced by SSS Entertainments, the movie is set in kanchipuram and Kumbakonam.

Vivek does his part exceedingly well. His emotional act is good. Swetha is good while Venkatraj walks away with applause.

Naan Thaan Bala is inspired by a line from Mahabharatha. Slow narration is the eye-sore.

Verdict: Splendid show
