Why Yennai Arindhaal release delayed?

Ajith starrer Yennai Arindhaal which was supposed to release on Pongal day has been shifted to 29 January. The trailer and songs were released to greater reception on New Year.

One wonders why the release was delayed? Sources say that some post-production works are still on.
