அர்ஜுனை இயக்கும் அருண் வைத்தியநாதன்!

‘அச்சமுண்டு அச்சமுண்டு’ படத்தை இயக்கிய அருண் வைத்தியநாதனின் அடுத்த படம் அர்ஜுன் நடிக்க ‘கப்பல் ‘ படத்தை தயாரித்த ஐ ஸ்டுடியோஸ் தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகிறது.’ அர்ஜுன் போலீஸ் அதிகாரியாக நடிக்கும் இந்தப் படம் hollywood படங்களின் தர வரிசையில் தயார் ஆகிறது.

பெயரிடப்படாத இந்தப் படத்தை பற்றி பேசிய இயக்குனர் அருண் வைத்தியநாதன் ‘ என் ஒவ்வொரு படமும் மற்றொரு படத்தில் இருந்து மாறுப்பட்டு இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதில் நான் தீர்மானமாக இருப்பேன்.அச்சமுண்டு அச்சமுண்டு ஒரு சமுதாய பிரச்சனையைப் பற்றிய படம் என்றால் , மலையாளத்தில் மோகன் லால் சாரை வைத்து நான் இயக்கி பெரும் வெற்றி அடைந்தத ‘பெருச்சாழி’ திரைப்படம் அரசியல் பற்றிய படமாகும். எனது அடுத்த படம் வித்தியாசமாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக அதற்கான கதை எழுதுவதில் சிறிது நேரம் எடுத்துக் கொண்டேன். அந்த நேரத்தில் என் மனத்தில் உதித்தது தான் இந்தப் படத்தின் மையக் கரு.அந்த கதை கருவை எனது நண்பர் ஆனந்த் ராகவ் உடன் இணைந்து மேலும் மேருகேற்றினேன். எனது தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் சுதன் இடமும் , உமா ஷங்கர் இடமும் கதையைப் பற்றி விவாதித்தோம். எங்கள் மனதில் அந்த கதையின் நாயகன் பாத்திரத்துக்கு அர்ஜுன் சார் தான் பொருத்தமாக இருப்பார் என தோன்றவே அவரை அணுகினோம்.ஒரு காவல் துறை அதிகாரி எப்படி இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்கு தோற்றத்திலும் சரி , செயல் வடிவிலும் சரி அவர் ஒருவரே பொருத்தமாக இருப்பார் என்பதில் எள்ளளவும் சந்தேகம் இல்லை.ஒரு சினிமா போலீசாக இல்லாமல் நிஜத்தில் ஒரு காவல் அதிகாரி எப்படி நிதானமாக ஆழமாக ஒரு பிரச்சனைக்கு தீர்வுக் காண்பாரோ அந்த ஆழத்தை அர்ஜுன் சாரின் கதா பாத்திரம் வெளிப் படுத்தும்.பல்வேறு நாடுகளிலும் படமாக்கப்பட இருக்கும் இந்தப்,படத்தில் மேலு பல நட்சத்திரங்கள் நடிக்க உள்ளனர்.சர்வதேச அரங்கில் ஜொலிக்கும் வகையில் படமாக்க படும் இந்த படம் உருவாக என்னுடன் தலை சிறந்த தொழில் நுட்பக் கலைஞர்கள் இணைந்தது பணியாற்ற உள்ளனர்’எனக் கூறினார்.

Arun Vaidyanathan to direct Arjun

Director Arun Vaidyanathan , who gave us the critically acclaimed social thriller film ‘Achchamundu Achchamundu’ is back with a COP film. The yet to be titled thriller film will have Action King Arjun in the lead. The film is produced by I studios of Kappal fame who earlier collaborated with director Shankar’s S productions.

On giving out further details about the film Director Arun Vaidyanathan says “ I am very particular on the change of genres in every film of mine. Achamundu Achamundu was based on a theme of social reference , My next ‘Peruchazhi’ with Mohan lal sir was based on Political satirical comedy.I took enough time to draft my next script, as i was particular on another genre of films from my earlier projects. I struck an idea of a Stylish and innovative cop. After developing the script with writer Anand Raghav, I conveyed this idea to Mr Sudhan and Mr Uma Shankar of I studios, they were thrilled too.Our ultimate choice to play the protagonist was Arjun sir. Arjun sir as a cop, he has got a ‘Believe it’ theory.He is not the typical screen cop who goes over the top to prove in this film. He plays a perfect real time cop, cool and calculative. This will be a mega budget crime thriller. Various other big names will also decorate the cast list. We are in the process of bringing the best of the technical team to support our dream of making a perfectly blended stylish thriller. The locations are being discussed right now. I am sure this film will have the best technical team and cast possible.
