Velai Illa Pattathari Movie Review

Dhanush is back after a debacle in Naiyyandi with Velai Illa Patathari.It is his 25th film and produced by himself.The movie is directed by Velraj, who cranked the camera for films including Aadukalam and Nayyandi.

Velraj has ensured that there are enough fun elements in the movie that ensures a stern watch.The unemployed engineer crowd and and their trouble are well-explained.

Amala Paul plays Dhanush’s ladylove and Samudhirakani and Saranya as his parents.Anirudh has come up with some catchy mucial score that sets up the momentum.

The film is about Dhanush, a civil engineer who is jobless.He is ridiculed by all in his family. He finally mamages to get one and finally what happens then forms the rest. What Amala Paul does in his lovelife is a separate track.

Dhanush is splendid and does chip in with his best.Samudhirakani and Saranya does their act well.

Surabhi plays the second heroine, while newcomer Amiteesh as villain is good. Velraj has done a great job in his debut.

Verdict: Tough job
