It is the story of a young man and woman running away from their homes are taken to a police station, where they become spectators to the goings-on at the place. Directed by Lawraa, the movie features Mahendran, Manishajith, M S Baskar, Manobala, Mahanadhi Shankar among others.
Mahendran and Manishajith elope from their homes in a lorry and reaches Chennai. A police team on patrol on suspicion takes them to a police station. There they become a witness to a series opf events. the day-to-day happenings in a police station is narrated in a hilarious way.
The inspector at the station Mahanadhi Shankar tries his best to be upright and solves one issue or another that crops up.
At one time, he even decides to get Mahendran and Manishajith married. But there is a twist in the tale. Mahanadhi Shankar summons the parents of the boy and girl. What happens then forms the climax.
Mahendran and Manishajith essay their part well. Their onscreen chemistry is good. Mahanadhi Shankar has a meaty role to play.
But the scene-stealer is M S Baskar. As a Tamil scholar, he manages to tickle the funny bone.
Lawraa has tried to best to keep things light. But at places, the entire sequence happening in one location and some mediocre performances takes away the sheen. It is a youthful entertainer with moments to makes to smile.
