Things can’t get more topical than this. It all started with a tweet by Arya. After casting his vote at a polling booth at Anna Nagar in Chennai, the actor tagged his good friend Vishal and posted: “Thalaivaaaa…Building katroom apparam Katchi Arambikiroom aduthe election jaikroom ??????? #PuraitchiThalapathy”
Soon, Vishnu Vishal, a close friend of both Arya and Vishal, posted: “Corrction..buildin katrom- KALYANAM PANROM – katchi arambikirom- aduthu election jeikarom…;);):)”
These tweets created flutter in cinema and media circles, as they suggested that Vishal, who recently won as general secretary of Nadigar Sangam, would enter politics soon and even start a party of his own.
However, circles close to the ‘Thimiru’ and ‘Kathakali’ actor downplayed the issue and said, “the three (Vishal, Arya and Vishnu Vishal) are very close buddies and they are just pulling each other’s legs. As of now, Vishal has got no political plans.”
