Venkat Sundar shares the pride of a Coimbatore native with the above said legends. The actors who is getting accolades for his recently released Kappal , a hit among the Christmas releases.

“ From short films to silverscreen the transformation was steady. Debuted with a small role in the film ‘Nanban’ directed by Shankar sir. There it started with roles that comes for a brief time. On one fine day director Karthik called me for an audition for the role called ‘Pattabi’. “

“ The director was convinced with my acting but he was hesitant that the characters misses something that could register the character. Immediately I took a talc powder and applied it as a Pattai. The whole crew were laughing with my look. “

“Everytime I come for schedule from Coimbatore it would be a nail biting experience to reach the spot. The bus would get puncture or the train would get late. I even thought that someone else should not be doing the role on reaching the spot very late at times.”

“ I was sure about acting and it have been my passion since the school ages. But in reality they said an actor should also dance. But Dinesh master was very nice to make us dance in the film. In one of the scenes We have tried to speak hindi with all other language we know. “ laughs the actor with his kovai kusumbu.
