Theatre Lab helps in identifying ‘the individual identity’.

Rao says -‘ if we are good human then we can become good actors’. He is one among few people who teaches the lost traditional art forms mostly forgotten due to the westernisation in Chennai.

Rao, the former senior actor in Koothu Pattarai became immensely famous for his solo performance in ‘Appavum Pillaiyum’ in 2003. It was a story of a father’s psychological domination over his son, to be different it wasn’t a play about father – son sentiment rather focused on Gandhi – Nehru’s developmental ideologies. All of Rao’s production will have social message to it. Like wise, Romeo & Juliet play has its own interpretation. Each and every scene follows a social message.
