12th Chennai International Film Festival taking place at Woodlands, Woodlands Symphony, Inox (2 screens), Casino, Russian Centre of Science and Culture from 18 to 25 December 2014.

Indian Panorama – 17 films
Dutch Romantic films – 6 films
World Cinema – 87 films
The Inaugural film is “In the name of my daughter” (France) directed by André Téchiné. It was a entry in Out of Competition section at Cannes 2014.

Many award won films from other Indian languages like 1000 Rupees Note, December One, Labour of Love, In to the Dusk, Njaan, Munariyuppu are part of CIFF this year.
