Kirumi Movie Stills – An Edge on Seat Thriller

The emergence of young filmmakers has resulted in an incredulous revolution in the industry sparkling off the producers with more happiness. Brimming with a much elegant style of storytelling and top-notch technical aspects, the young team of ‘KIRUMI’ has something to offer on new experience for audience.

Kathir of Madhayaanai Koottam fame and Reshmi Menon have played the lead roles and others in the cast include Charlie, Vanitha and David Solomon.

Winning high praises for his naturalistic performance in Madha Yaanai Koottam, actor Kathir who plays the lead role in this film says, “Kirumi is not a social based film or something to deal with the virus and natural disasters. It is a realistic film that deals with the life of an ordinary youngster and how certain incidents change his course of life.”

Reshmi Menon who plays the female lead is so much enthralled to be a part of this project and says, “I was really doubtful whether I would do complete justice to the role. It is so much challenging and the team encouraged me to take it up and I am elated things have turned up well.”

Filmmaker Anu Charan might seem to be newcomer in Tamil film industry, but he holds special mention for winning critical acclaims for his short films made in Australia. “We have attempted something new on genre for Kirumi laced with drama and few psychological thrill elements.”

Arul Vincent, a former associate of PC Sriram has handled cinematography and music director K has composed songs. The makers are so much excited on having these iconic young talents, who have exerted an unparalleled style of esthetical work to embellish the fabulous rhetoric spell of Anu Charan.

While the film’s shooting was finished in a short span of time, the post-production works are close on the heels of completion; the producers will make the official announcement pertaining to audio and theatrical release shortly.

The film is produced by K Jayaram, L Prithiv Raj, M Jayaraman and S Rajendran under the banner of JPR Films.
