Kanaga’ a boss of petty plans – Actor Karunakaran

Very few actors only can pull everyone’s attention towards them irrespective of the character’s importance in the film. Karunakaran is one such an actor of substance who tactically grabs the audience attention often. His cupboard is full of appreciations he received for Jigarthanda, Yamirukka Bayamey, Aadama Jaichomada, Lingaa earlier this year. Karuna is expecting a great new year with the film ‘Kappal’.

“ In ‘Kappal’ I play a village boy role called Kanaga, an aggressive young man who is totally against love and marriage. ‘Kanaga’ drafts petty plans and boss over others in the group to separate Vaibhav – Sonam Bhajwa love.”

“ I have danced in this film which is much more tougher job for me. Dancing for the famous ‘Oora vittu oora vanthu’ song remix is an unforgettable experience. Just because am not letting the Vaibhav and Sonam Bahjwa stay together in the film, I was cursed to be on the spot at 5 am in the morning very next day of my marriage. When my friends asked me where my honey moon is , I use to tell them that it is in ‘Kappal’. May be they thought I meant the cruise’ “ grins Karuna.

“I would like to thank producers of the movie ‘I’ studios for accommodating me in this ‘Kappal’. Shankar sir and his wife lauded my performance in the movie. I am very proud to say that I have acted in a ‘S’ pictures film. The film will entertain the mass for sure”, says Karuna.
